The Bears Are Coming
International Bear Convergence (IBC) is the premier winter event for Bears & admirers in Palm Springs, California, February 4-8, 2016. This desert oasis opens its arms and welcomes you to the hip Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs to thousands of frisky, furry bears, their friends & their fans.
The four-day event will come to life with DJs, live entertainment and thousands of bears from around the globe. The last two years were hugely successful and we expect more of the same in 2016 with record-breaking attendance.
During the day kick back like a rock star and enjoy themed pool parties with music provided by world renown DJ’s at the fabulous Hard Rock pool. With multiple bars, cabanas and outdoor lounge areas you’re destined to have a fantastic day. After the sun goes down, evenings will heat up with three high-energy dance parties.
Friday night the spotlight will be a highly anticipated performance by DaddyB directly from Spain and performing for the 1st time in the US. Saturday’s main dance event will feature a live performance by the incomparable dance club diva, Kristine W. This years IBC’s pool parties & dance events will highlight several top DJs from around the globe including: Roke Cabrera from Barcelona, Doug Jackson of Fort Lauderdale, DJ Eric Ornelas Palm Springs, DJ Callahan of Los Angeles, DJ Chub Jim of Palm Springs and Byron Bonsall from San Francisco.
IBC is the first winter weekend event hosting approximately 3,500+ bears, muscle bears, cubs, chasers, chubs and admirers in Palm Springs. This premier gay destination offers travelers top-notch nightlife, casino action, and award-winning restaurants. Known for its crystal blue skies and year-round sunshine, Palm Springs is the perfect holiday weekend destination and one of the only US cities that boasts an average temperature of 70 degrees in February.
Online registration is open now but closes January 20. After that you can purchase passes the day of the event. Proceeds go to benefiting AIDS Assistance Program and The Center Food Bank of Palm Springs.
