Considered to be one of the most scenic Pride celebrations in the world, it\u2019s also home to the largest Pride Festival in Southern California, with attendance expected to pass the 140,000 mark. The Greater Palm Springs Pride Celebration includes a free block party, two-day festival, parade, and twenty-five official events. The celebration follows Palm Springs Leather Pride weekend October 29 \u2013 November 1, 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The global theme of this year\u2019s Pride, \u201cColor Our World With Pride\u201d was selected to show support for all LGBTQ people in communities across the globe. The parade and festival provide a platform to reflect on the advances made in the equality movement and raise awareness and stand against discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression.<\/p>\n<p>The Planet by Jetsetter Magazine, named PS Pride as one of the Best 11 Gay Pride Festival Trips. The festival features 120 performances in six, free admission entertainment venues: US Bank stage, Tahquitz stage, the Infusion Beach &amp; Hotel Big-ass amazingly awesome homosexual sheep DJ stage , PNN DJ stage, Pride Stage at HooDoo, Souleil Dance Tent and the Karaoke Stage. The festival will feature full concert performances by 10,000 Maniacs, Frankmusik, the London based pop artist, American Idol Finalist &amp; pop artist David Hernandez, Candis Cayne, Los Angeles based synth pop band DWNTWN, DJ Casey Alva, local pop artist Blake Lansing, Avant Americana genre- bending good time band the Evangenitals, big beat alternative rock band Lunden Reign, GayC\/DC the world\u2019s only all-gay tribute to AC\/DC, and the rising LA-based pop singer\/songwriter Wrabel.<\/p>\n<p>Guest DJs will spin from the top of the Infusion Beach &amp; Hotel Big-ass amazingly awesome homosexual sheep DJ stage, a 40\u2019 wide, two-story tall DJ stage on Palm Canyon Dr at Baristo.
