We will\ngather in Palm Springs to educate, inspire, and commemorate our diverse\ncommunity. Together, we honor the past and empower each other to live our\nauthentic, truest selves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is in the spirit of solidarity\nthat we celebrate what it means to be a member of this beautiful community, to\nremember those we have lost, affirm our commitment in the fight for equality,\nand look toward the future and what it holds for LGBTQ people worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our visibility remains our\ngreatest tool to push back against those who oppress us. Greater Palm Springs\nPride will create moments of visibility for the LGBTQ community. We invite you\nto come together in celebration and use the platform that Pride provides to\npeacefully resist hate, discrimination, intolerance, racism, and bigotry. Join\nus and raise awareness of key issues important to you, including immigration\nreform; access to education, insurance, and health care; rights for transgender\nand gender nonconforming people; rights for incarcerated LGBTQ individuals; and\nreligious discrimination against LGBTQ individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We stand with Pride around the\nworld; we give a voice to the power of self-expression, inclusiveness, and\nlove.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the support of the City of\nPalm Springs, some of the highlights of this year\u2019s event include a new\ndowntown event zone, entertainment organized on Arenas Road by the Arenas\nDistrict Merchants Association, two new stages on Palm Canyon Drive, more than\n100 performances throughout the weekend, 200 exhibitor booths, and plenty of\noutdoor food and beverage booths featuring products from festival supporters\nBudweiser, EFFEN Vodka, DeKuyper, Hornitos, Jim Beam, and Campari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By going to the parade and\nfestival, you are helping to raise awareness and visibility of the LGBTQ\ncommunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pride is for everyone.
