This highly anticipated culinary event comes your way on March 24-26, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The festivities include a soir\u00e9e at the iconic Ford Estate, Gerald and Betty Ford\u2019s newly restored home; \u201cAn Evening in New Orleans\u201d featuring renowned Chef Tory McPhail of Commander\u2019s Palace; the return of the James Beard Gourmet Four-Course Luncheon; and more<\/p>\n<p>For the first time ever, the festival presents unparalleled pre-events, such as the much-anticipated \u201cCelebrity Chef Reception\u201d at the Ford Estate, featuring bites from award-winning Chef, and Bravo TV \u201cTop Chef\u201d contestant, Brooke Williamson accompanied by a tour of Gerald and Betty Ford\u2019s former home. Executive Chef Tory McPhail of Commander\u2019s Palace will also host \u201cAn Evening in New Orleans\u201d at Toscana Country Club, sharing delectable bites of Creole cuisine.<\/p>\n<p>The festivities begin on Friday, March 24, 2017 at The Gardens on El Paseo with an afternoon reflecting the pinnacle of culinary excellence, a James Beard Gourmet Four-Course Luncheon featuring emcee and distinguished food expert, critic, and author Gail Simmons. Served in an elegant setting, the luncheon will be beautifully prepared by four standout chefs, including \u201cTop Chef\u201d fan favorite, Casey Thompson; James Beard award-winner Gale Gand; Commander\u2019s Palace Executive Chef and James Beard award-winner Tory McPhail; and Craveable Hospitality Group\u2019s Executive Pastry Chef Zac Young.
